If you watched the first part of this new series, prepare yourself for the next part.

Almost two years after the release of the first part, David Yates has directed and released Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Compared to its prequel, the new Fantastic Beasts movie has not been getting the best reviews but who would want to miss seeing Newt Scamander on the big screens again? In this movie, Newt is assigned on a new adventure, by none other a much younger Albus Dumbledore. In this movie, we are introduced to many new characters, some that bring a lot of change to the series. To see more about the movie make sure to watch the trailer.

As of December 30th, the movie has made close to $628 million in the box office worldwide, which is still far from the first part at this point. The backlash on this move could be due to the casting of Johnny Depp, or even the many changes made to the plot. When these controversies started to pop up and then the movie came out, it seemed to have even worse reviews. It, unfortunately, has very rotten reviews on “Rotton Tomatoes”.

No matter what everyone else has to say about the movie, it’s worth a shot to watch it. If you are a Harry Potter fan then many of the things mentioned in this latest movie will be an interesting connection to the older franchise. Nonetheless, you can only truly know how entertaining the movie was once you watch it and maybe you will actually enjoy it, unlike the many others that have not.
