The Earliest Spring in 124 Years

Spring time is a time of flowers, warm weather, and of course Spring Break. Of course for allergy sufferers, this might not be their most liked season; spring welcomes allergies. Despite this, a record has been broken today.

On March 19, 2020 at 11:49 pm, the spring equinox has begun. This is the first time that this has happened in 124 years. Most years, Spring will either start on the 20th or the 21st of March. An early spring gives plants more time to grow, and trees to have buds.

Spring has not been this early since 1896.
