AP Exams are in less than a month. Have you started preparing yet?
If you haven’t, it’s perfectly okay! You still have plenty of time to review and get a 5 on your exams this year. Here are some of my all time tips to help you get that 5 on that exam.
- Practice Exams If you don’t have the time to review material, then definitely take some practice exams. It helps to see where you will place, what you do and don’t know, and it allows you to apply what you know and actually learned, not just memorized. Make this a priority— just because you may know the material, doesn’t mean you can apply it to the various types of questions that you may be asked. Also, it is a perfect way to PACE YOURSELF!
- YouTube Review Videos: There are plenty of short, review sessions that are posted for all types of classes. These videos can come in handy, especially if you are seeking a last-minute review. They go over the main points that you will need to ace the exam.
- Review Your Notes: If you still have your notes from the beginning of the year, take a glance over them. It can be a great way to see what you know and don’t know, and what you should focus your studying on. Don’t waste your time studying material that you are an expert at, study the material that you need the most.
- Breathe, relax, and know that you got this! If you let your anxiety and worry get to you, you may not perform your best. Don’t forget to get at least 8 hours of sleep, eat well, drink plenty of water, and believe in yourself. Always try your best—you got this!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TAKING THE EXAMS!
