On April 17 the Sayreville Chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony for its new members.
The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes high school students who meet high academic standards – emphasizing leadership and service. Members meet standards for character and draw on their leadership experience to contribute to the society. The organization was founded by Edward Rynearson—principal of the Fifth Avenue High School in Pittsburgh, PA— all the way back in 1921, more than 100 years ago.
Currently the Sayreville NHS chapter is run by two wonderful advisors, Mrs. Kruh and Mrs. Vasquez. If you have any questions about NHS feel free to reach out to them.
