The event featured a custom Jeopardy-style game, certificates of recognition, and meaningful reflections. Senior board members Rishi Shah (President), Marissa Mandola (Vice President), Manha Riaz (Event Manager), Sathvik and Quinn Guerra (Social Media Manager) were recognized for their leadership and dedication throughout the year. The club also honored its many graduating senior members for being part of a community that values collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Special thanks to Mrs. Sachar, the club’s advisor, for her ongoing support, encouragement, and presence at every stage of the club’s growth.
As the outgoing president, I was proud to reflect on the journey we’ve taken over the last three years. When I first joined Math Club as a freshman, it was on the verge of fading away. I made it my mission to rebuild it from the ground up: restructuring the organization, re-engaging students, and creating a space where people could connect over a shared love for math in a relaxed, welcoming environment. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our board and the enthusiasm of our members.
One of my proudest accomplishments was launching the club’s annual Pi Day event, which quickly became a fun and well-loved tradition for students and staff alike.
As I graduate, my hope is that the Math Club continues to grow as a creative, inclusive space where students lead with purpose and curiosity, and where math is celebrated as a subject that brings people together.
