Recently the MSA, Muslim Student Association, held a fundraiser to help fund their club. They decided to fundraise with Halal Guys, located in East Brunswick. Halal Guys is booming with business in the short time it has been opened. They have a variety of food ranging anywhere from sandwiches to platters. People have come in from afar just to get the delicious taste of the famous Halal Guys. The MSA members cleverly decided to use this as a great opportunity to fundraise for the club.

The members of the MSA club were able to get multiple flyers posted in each hallway, hoping to get their message across. The event took place on Friday, September 27th, 2019 from 5:00PM-9:00PM. Anyone from Sayreville could arrive and show the cashier the flyer or simply state that they were from SWMHS and 20% of the profit would go to the club. The MSA club successfully made $82 from the event, meaning they sold almost $400 worth of food!
