Club Spotlight: American Red Cross

Club+Spotlight%3A+American+Red+Cross

The American Red Cross chapter at SWMHS took part in National Volunteer Month by making thank you cards for healthcare workers and volunteers. National Volunteer Month is observed during the month of April to recognize  the many healthcare workers and volunteers for their efforts and involvement in our society.

Recognizing the importance of volunteering and community engagement, the American Red Cross chapter at SWMHS went a step further by rewarding volunteer hours to those who participated in making the thank you cards. This incentive not only acknowledged the time and effort invested by the students but also reinforced the value of giving back to the community.

Overall, the participation of SWMHS’s American Red Cross chapter in National Volunteer Month exemplified the spirit of service and appreciation, making a meaningful impact on both the recipients of the thank you cards and the students involved in creating them.
